RubberMill’s PyroMat™ is a 750° F temperature-resistant fibrous (fiberglass-free) nonwoven sealing material. It is an ideal substrate for applications that require sealing of uneven surfaces and radiuses or might be exposed to flame and combustion chamber environments. It will not support combustion. The material has excellent tensile and tear strength and can be laminated with PSA and die cut into parts or slit into rolls.
PyroMat™ is a non-itch worker friendly product that can be safely incinerated or land filled (in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations) with no known environmental issues, special handling concerns, or precautions.
RubberMill currently stocks a .25″ nominal thickness. Other thicknesses are available. Production minimums may apply. Contact RubberMill and request a sample to test in your application.
