Thermal insulation and acoustic insulations are used in a wide range of applications, such as:

  • HVAC insulation
  • Commercial appliances
  • Residential appliances

FibraMat™ Thermal and Acoustic Insulation

RubberMill’s FibraMat™ thermal and acoustic insulations are durable, non-hazardous, nonwoven synthetic fiber products that are a popular alternative to fiberglass for appliance applications. They can be engineered in a range of sizes, thicknesses, and densities, allowing them to be fabricated to meet specific requirements. They offer dimensional stability, abrasion resistance, moisture resistance, and mildew resistance while passing the UL94 HF1 test for flammability.

FibraMat™is odor-free, hypoallergenic, and fully recyclable, making it worker, consumer, and environmentally friendly. It can also be laminated with foils, films, fabrics, scrims, and pressure-sensitive adhesives.

Vibration Damping for OEM Appliances

Consumers have high demands for smarter, quieter, and more efficient appliances. Not only do vibration damping solutions protect delicate system components, but they also reduce the noise levels that appliances produce. This makes for a more comfortable user experience and higher customer satisfaction overall.

Custom Molded Rubber Parts Applications

There are a variety of simple ways to reduce noise and vibration, including the application of rubber tips or feet to the bottom of a countertop appliance like a blender. At RubberMill, our custom molded rubber parts are produced according to your unique specifications to reduce noise and vibration for your OEM appliances.

Die Cut Parts for Vibration Damping

Specialty materials can be die cut for use in vibration damping and noise reduction. With years of experience and long-lasting relationships with reliable vendors, RubberMill offers cost-effective die cut parts for your appliances. Send us your drawings, specifications, purchase quantities, and EAU’s for a detailed quote that outlines tooling costs, project delivery, and more.
